What Causes Ringing Sound In Ears?

I have a light ringing in my left ear. I had drainage about a month ago from sinus and allergies. now it is a constant ringing. I went to an express care and the nurse pratitioner had gave me sinus medication. Afrin. And she advised me to see an ear, nose throat specialist. Now I am hearing that this is common??? In talking with relatives. Guess my aunt has it and there is no cure for this? Will it get worse and I go nuts?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is condition of allergies and sinusitis then such ringing sound in ear may be likely and this is nothing to worry as soon as the underlying cause cured you wont be having ringing sound, no need to worry about this, antihistamine gives best result along with this try some steam inhalation, hope this information helps, take care.
