What Causes Rise In BP Levels Inspite Of Taking Lipitor And Cozaar?
BP running high. 170/91 high for today. 153/84 low. Taking 12.5 mg of Coazar as prescribed. Only other med is Lipitor at bedtime. Have contacted doctor but it s the weekend. My BP has been previously well managed on the Coazar. Don t know what s going on. No stress. Eye surgery yesterday. But BP was up before that. My BP in recovery room was 136/86 medicated and under anesthesia. Suggestions?

This is not a mystery all it means is that the dose of your BP medication is low you can go 100 mg and even if the maximum dose does not work then you can ask your physician to add another medicine maybe hydrochlorothiazide to begin with so again all he needs is adjustment off your dosing of your medicine and in addition you should do like low-salt and diet regular exercise walking out off stress et cetera if any further questions please go let me know thank you
