What Causes Rise In SGPT Levels?
i am 55yr old man,when i check my health my SGOT is 49u/L and SGPT is81U/L on23 jul 2011 and aagain i check my SGPT 126 on 07 aug 2011.now on06 nov 2011 again my SGOT is 45.
i am worried that increase of SGPT.i am nonalcoholic?man,nonsmokar man.my wt is also not exess.wt. is 62kg. what should i do,pls give me the suggestion

The liver parenchymal cell pathology is the reason behind the high value of SGPT, if you do not have any clinical symptoms then no need to worry about this, in my opinion better get done the ultrasonography test to confirm the underlying cause, take care.
