Creatinine level 8.5 is suggestive of severe degree of kidney affection.
In symptomatic patient of such chronic kidney disease patient, dialysis is the only treatment. The other mode of permanent treatment is renal transplantation if suitable to your case. Diabetes and hypertension should be under control with medication.
