Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Rosacea, Fungal Nail Infection And Joint Pain?
I m a woman who is 60 years old. I have been treating the following symptoms separately but am now wondering if they might all fall under the umbrella of one disease or disorder? Rosacea, thinning hair (severe), nail fungus and nails falling off, joint pain. Thank you, Sandy
The conditions you mention seem to be separate and are not generally caused by the same underlying disease. Rosacea, fungal nail infection, and joint pains have clearly different mechanisms and need specific treatment each.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
