What Causes Rotten Smell In Nose, Green Discharge And Painful Swelling In Jaw?

Hello, I was wondering. I have a very bad smell in my nose like a rotten smell. Yellow green discharge in my nose. But not like a cold virus would be. Pain and swelling in my rear jaw area. I recently had some teeth extracted. And some build ups for implants. What would this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, greetings! Thanks for posting your query. You seem to be suffering from a bacterial infection in your nose. Since your mucus is green in colour, the most probable infection pseudomonos. Also you seem to have a gum infection after tooth extraction caused again by bacteria. Treatment may need antibiotics like beta-lactam antibiotics or aminoglycosides. I suggest you meet an ENT local doctor and a dentist who can prescribe you the relevant antibiotics.
