What Causes Rough And Itchy Skin On Legs?

Hi...I recently noticed last several months, when I shave my legs, within 2 seconds I get major hives all over. Not sure if it s even hives. It almost looks like lizard skin. Very weird. It burns more than it itches. Is this something I should be concerned about?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Urticaria/hives can occur due to different causes including physical factors. The physical factors that can cause problems include firm stroking of the skin, pressure on the skin, heat, cold, stress, water, sun.

These different types of urticaria have different names. It is possible your urticaria is due to pressure on the skin.

You may want to consider consulting an allergist who would be able to assess you.

I hope this helps
