Several weeks ago I experienced a rough sensation on the inside of my lower lip, not slippery as mucuous membrance would normally be. My tongue looked coated, and I suspected Thrush. I had been using a Fluticasone inhaler, and though I had rinsed my mouth as directed, I thought I might not have done it adequately. I used an oral swish and swallow rinse, then later Clotrimazole lozenges. I still have the sensation on my lower lip, and the tip of my tongue is tender, and tingling, almost as if I had drunk a hot beverage too quickly. This has resulted in a slight lisp, which I ve never had before. Have I experienced a TIA?
