Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Rough Textured Skin On The Labia Minora?
I ve noticed that only on the inside of the left side of my labia minora there is this row of a slightly rough skin. There are only maybe four or five spread apart stalks of skin that are about a half centimeter tall and very skinny like the dot of a pencil. Painless to touch and skin colored. When I squeeze them the top turns white. What are these? Do I need to be concerned? They were there when I had my last visit to the gynecologist and the doctor didn t say anything about it, so my assumption is that they re skin tags?
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Yes these are skin tags. On squeezing it turns white because of interruption of blood supply. These don't need treatment unless it is embarrassing you. Best treatment option is laser or cryotherapy. Hope it helps best.
