What Causes Rough Vaginal Wall While Recovering From UTI?

I ve had a uti for 2 weeks now and ever since the infection began my vaginal walls have been feeling rough instead smooth like normal. But there s no redness peeling or any inflammation. The walls just feel rough and my urine smells bad after drinking things other than water. Why is this occurring??

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to yeast infection. This can occur due to antibiotic therapy. A swab test will be helpful to rule out this. Using anti fungal agents like clotrimazole cream for local application will be helpful. This is available as over the counter in brands like monistat. Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the genital area. You can use saline or warm water instead of this. Using intimate wash daily to wash genital area will be helpful to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH also.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
