General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to fungal infectionTinea corporis. If you send a picture then it will be more helpful in identifying. A visual examination with your GP or dermatologist will help to rule out this. If you were my patient with such condition then I would recommend using anti fungal ointments like terbinafine or miconazole for local application and fluconazole tablet weekly once for 1 month orally. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
