What Causes Round Painful Spots With Hard Skin On The Ball Of Foot?

I have 2 round spots on the ball of each foot that are covered with a dry like skin surface and are hard and seen to go fairly deep into the foot. The largest is about the size of a nickel but hurt extremely bad to step or walk on. I would put the pain at an easy 8. Any ideas.

I really appreciate your concern, it could be kind of some nonspecific skin lesion and it can be well managed with steroid and best would be "Beclomethasone cream" if it fails to responds then it needs to be clinically examined, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
