Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
White, perfectly round aspirin shaped object in stool. Slightly squishy in consistency. Accompanied by diarrhea and brief abdominal discomfort. No history of IBS, or cholesterol issues. On meds for depression and anxiety. None of the meds ate large enough or correct shape of object.
White specks in the stool are commonly undigested food like nuts, seeds, etc But it can be parasites too. Since you have diarrhea & abdominal discomfort, you are suggested to visit ER, get Urinalysis(R/E & C/S) & Stool examination( R/E & C/S) & CBC done.
Take anti diarrheals (Loperamide) & antacids or PPI's to relieve stomach discomforts. Take plenty of water, juice & sous to maintain your blood electrolyte level.
Avoid addictions if any, your treatment will depend upon the report of the tests.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
