What Causes Round Red Spots Around Abdominal Area?
My brother (64 years old) has rows of coin-shaped red spots around his stomach and a few in other spots on his arms and legs. Naturally, being a man, he has not been to a doctor with the condition, and he insists that it does not hurt or itch. Any ideas?

A photo would be very helpful through the diagnosis. The symptoms seem to be related to tinea corporis which is a fungal infection. I recommend to use an antifungal cream for local application. I also suggest to maintain the area clean and dry.
