What Causes Round Spot With Dry Thin Ring Edge On Ankle?

Hello I have on quarter sized spot on my right ankle and one on the bottom of the same foot. They are not sore or itchy, they do have kinda of a dry thin ring around the outer edge. I have had them for about a month , they dont seem to get any redder or itchier they are just there. I am 51 yrs old , male , weight 200 height 5'9" tall. In 2009 I fell about thirty feet and broke my left heel, wouldnt think that would have anything to do with but ???? I stopped smoking February of 2012 Any ideas

I can understand your problem, this could be a eczema, if I would be your doctor then I would surely try hydrocortisone cream for this and this will give good result. worth trying, if does not get alright then need be examined, have nice day.
