General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Round patch if is painless then it can be primary syphilis lesion. A consultation with a dermatologist will be helpful to rule out this. Taking antibantibiotic doxycycline for 1 week will be helpful to clear up this. Do you had any recent history of unprotected sexual intercourse. ? If it is not syphilis then ointments with combination of antifungal like miconazole ,anti bacterial like gentamycin and corticosteroid like beclamethasone will be helpful. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
