Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i only have salty lips.. whats the exactly cause? i ate chips every nite and have 2 cups of coffee... no medication at all . but only the supplements like calcium 600mg with vit D3, Cosamin DS, trunature Advanced strength Cinsulin, omega fishoil, weider red yeast rice plus, youththeory collagens advanced type 1,2,3 with 18 amino acids and multi vit 50 plus..
Salty taste on lips can be commonly associated with dehydration.. So first of all check that you are taking enough fluids or not.. Do you also have associated dry mouth or dry skin! Other causes can be hormonal imbalances or infection on lips. Acid reflux can be another cause.. As you are taking a number of supplements, it can also be a cause.. So consulting an Oral Physician and getting evaluated is a must.. As of now drink plenty of water, maintain a good oral hygiene..
Hope this information helps..
Regards..
