What Causes Saw Dust Like Taste When Suffering From Pancreatic Cancer?
My brother in law has pancreatic cancer. Prior to treatment he said everything tasted like sawdust? The doctor said it was a fungal infection but nothing has helped. I think it is because of the high bilirubin levels? Your thoughts and treatment please
High bilirubin levels will not influence taste. Fungal infections of the tongue may do so. However the more serious situation is the pancreatic cancer which has high rate of mortality and poor prognosis.
