What Causes Scabies In The Vaginal Area And Buttocks?

I ve been to the GP several times after having a few of the scabies symptoms and they have examined me and being dismissive as it is only around my vulva and buttocks. also, i did notice my ex partner was scratching around similar areas but it didn t seem evident that he had the spotty kind of leigons that have a weird kind of tiny black mark in them when they shed or peel - have I got scabies??

Hello,

Likely to be sexually transmitted fungal infection or scabies. Guidelines for better recovery:
- Cleansing of the private parts with antiseptic liquid or soap
- Douching with Betadine
- Sitz bath with salted lukewarm water added epsom salt and lavender oil
- Prescription of anti fungal, antibiotic
- Local application of Terbinafine cream with hydrocortisone
- Should avoid sexual intercourse till recovery
- Wear loose, clean, cotton inner wears
- Control of blood sugar
- High vitamin C intake with citrus fruits and chewable vitamin C
- Add multi vitamins, zinc, copper, selenium in daily drug basket
