What Causes Scaly Skin And Hair Loss After Taking Penicillin?
Having some slight hair loss near the crown of my head. Two weeks ago I was sick with scarlet fever rash from strep throat. I took penicillin every 8 hours during the four days I had it. Now my entire body is dry and peeling which I ve heard is normal, but the unusual amount of hair that can be gently pulled from my scalp is unnerving. Not in clumps or anything, just twice the amount of hair you would normally lose.
