What Causes Scapular Depression And Acute Cervical Radiculopathy?
Hey Doc! Q.1)I ve been Diagnosed w/ Depressed Right Scapula, Acute Cervical Radiculopathy (L). I ve somehow developed a Small rash of bumps on my Right upper, outside forearm. Could this be related to my Pinched Nerve? Q.2) My 1st Diagnosis was Impingment, tendinitus,Adhesive Capalitus,Bone Spurs w/Scar Tissue. Now an Independent Dr. Diagnosed w/2 others Say Depressed Scapula. Aren t they the Same thing, and If Not, Would they both Recieve the Exact Same Protocol? (Therapy ect.)
The scapular depression with acute cervical radiculopathy do present with variety of neurological symptoms such as: - Tingling, numbness upper arm up to hands - Difficulty in raising shoulder above 90 degree level - Winging of scapula seen from back side - Nape pain radiating to upper limb and hand
However, neither of the case is associated with rash or bumps outside the forearm, which may be indicative of underlying viral infection as root cause of radiculopathy most likely.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
