Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Any lung insult whether tuberculosis or pneumonia or Pulmonary contusions heal by following mechanism.
1. Fibrosis
2. Calcification
3. Rarely complete resolution.
Fibrosis or calcification are more common.
This is scar tissue and it is permanent.
Since it is inactive tissue, no treatment is required.
You need to prove that this is inactive scar and not active lesion.
For this you need to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. CT thorax with Contrast
2. Bronchoscopic evaluation.
If both these are negative for active disease, then you can argue with visa authority about not having active disease.
And the scar present on x ray is inactive, healed, noninfective lesion.
