What Causes Scrotum Pain After Having Total Knee Replacement?
what would cause swelling and pain on one side in the scrotum of a 62 year old man? He had knee replacement surgery on January 4, and has been doing very well. He is taking aspirin for blood thinner and also Tylenol, Tramidin and oxycodone for pain. He is not taking the full amount that he could for pain.
The cause has to be determined by a physical examination and probably even an ultrasound, but a few of the most common causes include epididymitis, hernias, hydrocele, testicular torsion, etc. Please consult a doctor for an elaborate evaluation and more details on treatment.
Best wishes.
