What Causes Seizing Up And Pain In Throat And Tongue?
I was talking on the phone when suddenly it felt like my throat and tongue seized up and it was painful to try to move my tongue or swallow. I thought i was having a stroke. I am female, 35yrs old, 5'5", 110lbs, and just started antibiotics for an infection. No the symptoms are subsiding.

If the symptoms are subsiding then you have nothing to worry about in any case. However if the symptoms persists then you must consult both a physician and ENT as soon as possible
