What Causes Seizure After Discontinuation Of Fioricet?
Hi, I have been taking Fioricet (Butalbital-Acetaminophen-Caffiene) for three years. I have been taking 1 to 2 tablets a day everyday in three years. I finally stopped taking it two days ago because I didn t have bad headaches. Will I get seizures because I stopped taking it two days ago? Should I take Topamax tonight for first time?

If you do not have a history of seizures then there is no reason that stopping the medication would cause seizures.
If you do have a history of seizures and you are using the medication as part of your seizure control regimen then discontinuation should be discussed with your doctor.
