What Causes Seizure And High BP After Head Injury?
My husband fell off a barstool & hit his head. Started shaking like a seizure & eyes rolled back in his head. I ran outside to tell my son to call 911. When I got back to him he was standing up & saying What? We are at ER now. His BP is 142/102. He is not overweight but is a smoker age 40.

After a head injury if the patient had a seizure activity then immediately after that the patient will be in a confused and inactive state called as a post-ictal phase. But as you are saying that he got up immediately after falling down, then it was not seizures. But he needs to monitor his vitals closely for the next 24 to 48 hours. He should give up smoking.
