What Causes Sensitiveness In Upper Abdomen During Pregnancy?
hello i am 8 months pregnant and my upper part of my belly has became very sensitive the last few days. It feel like im full but when i touch it or rub it its a little sensitive and i can feel my baby moving alot. was wondering what it can be. i went to the doctors on last tuesday and everything is fine but its just being a little pains in my upper part of my belly. its not bad pain just uncomfortable at times.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. As the pregnancy progresses, particularly in third trimester, pressure on the organs like stomach increases due to the growth of baby in the uterine cavity. Hence you feel this sensation on upper part of the belly, which is quite natural. For this you need to sleep in the left lateral position which would reduce the contact with organs like stomach. If the movement of baby is good, it is a good sign. You need to bear this for few more days. Once the baby's head gets fixed to the pelvis (if it has cephalic presentation) in the 37th week, this pressure will decrease and you will be much more comfortable. Relax for now and All the best.
