Hi.
I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.

Regular alcohol intake causes gingivitis & Periodontitis due to the irritation to the gum tissue,
having poor dental hygiene & nutritional deficiencies. Also they increase the risk of dehydration and dry mouth.

I advice you,
1. Stop abusing alcohol.
2. Practice & maintain good oral hygiene. Gargle regularly with mouthwash.
3. Eating a balanced diet to escape nutritional deficiency
4. Avoid food items rich in sugar, which can encourage bacterial growth in the mouth.
5. Quit smoking
6. Periodic dental examinations .

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
