Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of extreme sensitivity in upper gums and around the ear canal post a dental treatment which seem sto be due to injury to peripheral nerve endings and due to remnants of root in socket area.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult dentist for proper examination. Doctor may order X-ray for proper evaluation and may prescribe antibiotics for at least for 10 days. You should take combination of Metronidazole and Amoxicillin for 5 days. Maintain oral hygiene to prevent further food debris and bacterial accumulation.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
