Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Series Of White Sore Bumps Around The Tongue And Ridge Of Mouth?
I had a white sore spot appear at the base of the frenulum under my tongue, which then became a series of bumps, that have now created sort of ridge on the floor of my mouth just behind my lower teeth. I only drink a little wine once in a while and have never smoked. Is it anything I should be concerned about? A nurse practitioner said a canker sore, but I ve had enough canker sores to know this isn t one.
The white lesions that you are describing could be due to fungal infection. I would recommend you to see a dermatologist in person for the same and get yourself treated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
