What Causes Severe Abdominal And Joints Pain Post Delivery By C-section?

Hi. I had a c section on June 30, about 25 days back. I still have abdominal pain and taking ibuprofen 600 mg still. From last 5 days I also developed a whole body pain with severe joint pains that doesn t go away even with the ibuprofen that I am taking for abdominal pain. It is hard for me to walk around now. Also have a sore throat . Was unable get appointment by Obgyn . Do I need go to emergency . I did go to urgent care 5 days back and confirmed outside incision looks okay. My concern is this whole body pain

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The generalized pain and sore throat may indicate that you have the flu though other infections can cause generalized pain.

Other flu symptoms may develop as well eg nasal congestion, sneezing, cough

The use of paracetamol, fluids and rest may help. If the paracetamol is not enough then you can use alternative pain medication.

If the symptoms are severe then you may need to be reviewed by your doctor.
