What Causes Severe Abdominal Bloating And Pain After Eating?

My friend has extreme bloating and pain after eating. She has been to the ER twice in the last three days in severe pain. After a battery of tests they believe it is a gallstone or a polyp in the gall bladder and her gall bladder is functioning at 29%, but send her home with instructions to stick to a liquid diet, since even small amounts of virtually anything cause her distress, and take Gas-X. What should be done? I m concerned that her extreme bloating within minutes of eating may be symptomatic of something else. By extreme bloating I mean the stomach is distended 2 to 3 inches beginning just below the ribcage. And if it is the gallbladder, should they not go ahead and remove it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Yes you right that we can remove Gall stones ... but there are few criterias , firstly should try to solve with medications and diet control .. then review the gall bladder functioning after 3 months .. if still it is declining to function ,.. then surgery will be the best choice
