What Causes Severe Abdominal Gas And Bloating While On Miralax?
I have been on Miralax daily for 10 years due to chronic constipation. It suddenly stopped working and gave me terrible gas and bloating. All my GI tests have come back negative. I stopped the Miralax briefly and I m feeling better but no BM s. My GI doctor said I have to start it again because he doesn t want me to get all backed up. I m pretty nervous about it. What do you recommend? Thank you very much.

Welll u hav dyspepsia due to which u r having these symptoms of bloating n gas. Frst u hav to tak care of ur diet. Avoid carbohydrate n legumes lik beans pulses . Avoid over eating. Take food in divided manner rather than at once. Avoid late night dinr. Do exercise. Do Walk after meals. I wd sugest omeprazole, metochlopromide or gastric enzym suplemnts lik pepzyme
