What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain After Partial Hysterectomy?
46 year old female. I had partial hysterectomy (uterus removed) at 37 due to persistent issues with endometriosis..so hard to know where I am as far as menopause. I also had a vein embolization in left pelvic region a few years ago due to a vein blockage causing serious abdominal pain. I have also had regular issues with a pinched nerve above left hip. I usually move the wrong way and feel the nerve pop...then hard to move at all for days. I walk regularly (min 4x per week for 45 mins) outside or on treadmill for exercise. I also try to take stairs etc for any extra steps I can get. I eat healthy most of the time and am in pretty good shape as far as height weight etc. No issues with high blood pressure or cholesterol. I work in an office so I do sit for long periods of time at my desk during the week. Anyhow..about 3 weeks ago for no apparent reason my legs started aching and they feel very heavy and weak. I feel like I have to move my body to get my legs to move. This has stayed about the same for 3 weeks. Also..very weird..on 4 distinct occasions in the last 3 weeks while sitting at my desk I felt a very warm wet sensation in my inner left thigh..as if very warm water spilling in my lap. I also may have a sinus infection right now. Going to see doc next week but wondering if you have any thoughts? Kinda worried.

Hi, Sounds to be related to intestine ischemia or other issue keeping in mind previous episode of venous blockages. However, a detailed case analysis is mandatory here to move ahead. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
