hi,
thank you for providing the brief history of you. first of all it is sad to hear that time and money are getting wasted and the pain hasn't come down. since you mentioned about blood in the stools then I request you to get your body checked by internal medicine specialist. getting the abdominal scan done will be of great help to come close to a diagnosis and proper action taken for treatment. Also please see if you can meet a gastroenterologist as he will be able to figure out the issue.
pain killer mentioned by the GP of you will be symptomatic and will work symptomatically until the bodys
metabolism and immune system works in coordination to fight against the illness.
kindly do some small general regular exercises as it will boost the metabolism, immune system and give an active energy.
also deep breathing exercises will help to strengthen the bodys cellular mechanism as the
oxygen is the energy source. for pain in the abdomen you can achieve strength by doing abdominal breathing exercises and strengthen all the quadrants of the abdomen.
also to understand here is that it's the bodys immune system which fight against anything and boosting the immune system needs an extra pressure from your mind.
if the Gastroenterologist find anything wrong the medicine will be prescribed which will be obviously symptomatic but still it will give a big help for your overall progress.
with the grace of God I wish you a speedy recovery
