Hi Last night my husband started experiencing stomach pain and then watery diarrhea. He has not thrown up and feels like he got run over by a truck. He has tried to eat crackers but ends up in the bathroom almost right away. He has no fever, but again, very achy. He is nauseous and miserable!
Advice 1. Ciprofloxacin 500 mg every 12 hours orally for 5 days 2. Metronidazole 400 mg every 8 hours orally after meal for 5 days 3. Albendazole 400 mg empty stomach in the morning – one dose only 4. Dicyclomine 20 mg every 8 hours per oral for pain on as needed basis 5.
