What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain And Lump Below The Chest?
have severe pain in my abdomen there is a noticeable lump below my chest. The pain at times is excruciating, Right in the center of my abdomen, My gastroenterologist is away, but ordered me an MR with contrast, and also an Upper Endoscopy. Hopefully, he will find the cause after the tests are completed. I thought it may be an hiatus hernia. But he has felt many nodes while feeling my abdomen God Willing, he will find the cause of the pain. Thank you.

The symptoms seem to be related to hiatus hernia. An abdominal ultrasound is needed to confirm the diagnosis. The treatment usually consists in surgery.
