Hi, i do care for your concern. implanon is a progesterone releasing device that is used as contraceptive. from your history, your drug may stopped working, one of the reason may be over weight that caused excess metabolism of drug. i would advise 1) To get an appointment with your gyanec and get the device changed. 2) In between time use other method of contraception such as condoms. You have experienced withdrawal bleeding that occurs after stoppage of drugs, the mood swings may be due to change in hormone levels. pregnancy can only be confirmed by urine pregnancy test. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
