What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain At The Navel Radiating To The Back?
Severe abdominal pain at navel upper right side and back, had a hida scan done on gallbladder, it was normal, just had upper endoscopy and tissue samples biopsied, all normal...pain started two years ago and hits me about every six months, spots were found on my liver from CT scan in the ER two years ago but no biopsy has ever been done on them,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe abdominal pain at the navel radiating to the back . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like appendicitis , consuming foods known to cause gas in some people, such as milk products that contain lactose, broccoli , crohn’s disease , gastroenteritis , irritable bowel syndrome or urinary tract infection . I would suggest you to avoid above mentioned foods , eat light and non spicy specially at night , take light walk after every meal , eat small and frequent meals .If condition doesn't get well then consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ultrasound , endoscopy along with stool test . Doctor may prescribe ornidazole , omeprazole , laxative , anti inflammatory along with antacids . Doctor may also refer you to urologist for UTI .
