What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain During First Trimester Of Pregnancy?

Hello, i am in the first trimester of my pregnancy and have been having some sharp abdominal pains. I do have mesh there from a hernis surgery when i was very young and i have had problems in the past with pain if i stretched or twisted to much or wrong. Could this be a problem and what can i do for the pain?

If you are having pain in the area of the surgical repair then it is possible that pressure from the enlarging uterus is causing pain in the area.

Ligament can also occur in pregnancy as well due to stretching of the ligaments in the pelvis.

If the pain continues then you can consider seeing your doctor for an assessment to determine the cause.
