What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain During Pregnancy?

I am currently 22 weeks pregnant. This is my second pregnancy. The first one ended at 25 weeks due to trauma. For the last two days, I have been expieriencing intense period/contraction like pain that won t go away with the use of Tylenol or a heating pad. I also had some light spotting this morning but it only lasted about an hour or so. I felt her move yesterday and usually feel her move everyday, but haven t felt anything today. I called the emergency number for my OBGYN and left a message but still haven t heard back and it s been 3 hours. I don t know if I should just wait and try and move up my doctors appointment to this week, or have someone check it out now since it s been pretty bad for 2 days

Hi,

Based on your description, it seems that you need to be attended on an emergency basis. Intense pain or contractions, spotting and loss of fetal movements are not good signs and it could land up in miscarriage. Kindly consult your doctor immediately and needs an urgent intervention.
