What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain While On Trigestrel?

Hi, I recently started using trigestrels agian. I went to see a gynae and he prescribed Zoely pills for me. They treated me well but I didn t get my periods at all after taking 2 packs. So I decided to go back to trigestrels and after the 2nd day of taking them my breasts hurt so much even after 3 days of stopping them and I m getting excruciating abdominal cramps. Could it be something else?

Hi, I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Answer: Trigestrel can cause breast tenderness but usually it alleviates abdominal cramps. As you are experiencing excruciating abdominal pain, I would suggest that you see your doctor who will look for any other possible causes.

I would also suggest that it is not a good practice to skip these hormonal pills for days as the primary motive behind the prescription can not be achieved or the situation can get worse.
