My daughter age 57 has been ill for 4 1/2 years. She has intensive pain in abdomen - is certain she strained an abdomen muscle, also has severe IBS. She is unable to find a doctor to take any interest in her condition (re muscle strain) and is told a muscle strain would heal in a few days/weeks. She is desperate to find the right specialist - last doctor told her that no-0ne deals with abdomen muscles. We read that her condition should be evaluated by a doctor to determine the problem. Her primary care doctor is very nice but of no help. She spends most of the day in a recliner because her body is now so weak. Drs not concerned her weight is 82lbs and eats little to avoid constant painful bowel movements.
