On 13th May 2011 the patient went for laparoscopy at Bavisi Hospital, Ahmedabad for removal of chocolate cyst in left ovary. Roughly one hour after the operation the doctor asked for my (husband of patient) consent for removal of multiple adhesions & continued the operation for about one more hour. On 19th May 2011 the patient was admitted to Starling Hospital, Ahmedabad with unbearable abdominal pain. The lower right ureter found damaged & leaking. DJ stent was put on 21st May 2011.The patient was somehow normal. DJ stent was removed on 10th Aug 2011. The patient was gripped by urinary infection & was under levoflox 500 for 20 days. Though the damaged ureter seems not be leaking it got strictured leading to restriction of urine from right kidney. Still continuing antibiotics like cefoxime 200 right from DJ stent removal. Also menstural period is prolonging more than 15 days with huge thick blood loss which is being controlled by medicine. USG is suspecting cyst in other (right) ovary. Hydronephrosis of right kidney & swelling of right ureter upside of stricture is prominent in CT-scan.
