What Causes Severe Acid Reflux Along With Nausea And Vomiting?

I ate some questionable ground beef last night, woke up with nausea. Thought it was acid reflux so I took some tums. I have been EXTREMELY nauseated all day. I can t move without feeling like I m going to vomit. My mouth tastes like a rubber ballon. I m spitting up and having small bouts of vomiting but it s mostly clear. I can t shake the feeling that it s the meat. BUT, no diarrhea regular bowel movements. I m very weak I m tired my stomach feels like it s pulsating. I m no stranger to the stomach flu doesn t feel like it completely because when you throw up with the stomach flu feel better I have not yet feel better all day long.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having symptoms severe acid reflux along with nausea and vomiting which is a very common problem due to excessive production of acid. Treatment of acid reflux depend upon taking medicine and alteration in lifestyle. You should take plenty of fluids. You should take oral rehydrating solution as well. I would suggest you to avoid spicy and heavy meal specially at night. Eat at least one hour before going to bed, take a light walk for 15-20 mins after every meal , take antacid after every meal like gelusil. Doctor may also prescribe anti emetic drug . If symptoms keeps on persisting visit gastroenterologist once and start treatment after complete prescription.
