Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have fibromyalgia. I have been having different symptoms after taking cymbalta. On my temples I am breaking out in bad acne its so bad never had before. I also cannot walk in the mornings at all feels like my feet are being clamped between 2 center blocks
Cymbalta is not reported to cause acne. But skin manifestations like urticaria, rash, erythema multiformae. Just check if you have been on any other medication that might be responsible for your symptoms.
If not, it might be due to hypersensitivity to Cymbalta. It would be better if you consult a dermatologist. Examination of the lesions would help in accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. For the time being, you can apply Clin day chin cream topically over the acne.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi.m,
