What Causes Severe And Constant Chest Pain In A Hypothyroid Patient?

I ve been having severe constant chest pain for the last 24 hours. It was so bad that it woke me up after only a few hours of sleep. The only thing keeping me from assuming heart attack is that it s in the extreme right side of my chest. I have Hypothyroidism, and concerned it may be a gallbladder issue, but doctor told me over the phone to try antacids for a few days to make sure it s not an upper GI issue before running any tests. It s extremely painful, and hurts when I breathe, excrutiating when I yawn or sneeze. What do you think I should do?

Hello,

You continue with the antacids, in addition, you need to start Zerodol MR. I believe it’s just muscular.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
