first I want you to make sure she gets enough unconditional love care and attention from parents and caregivers to This little one to get rid of her insecurities and fear of separation anxieties and then second she should be in more interactive environment filled with assurance of protection.
You have to take control of her thoughts to be happy and positive under every circumstances divert her mind from being scared, feeling insecured or feeling lonely and helpless. make her feel sense of belonging and being safe this helps her to openup her communicative skills and with in no time you will see her talking like a parrot.
there are many speech therapy videos on YouTube to watch for both of you. phonics videos communications videos, cognitive behavioural therapy for kids videos that will help.
just stop thinking to drug the child unless you have provided the kid with all that I have mentioned.

research says any medication should be given only after age of seven only if all other measures fail to improve child's performance or symptoms.
Hope this helps to clear your confusion. wish u good luck.
