What Causes Severe Anxiety While On Bystolic And Enalapril?
I am currently taking 2.5 mg of bystolic and 20 mg of enalapril a day. I have been taking that combination for the last 3 months for hypertension. For the last month I have been expierencing bouts of servre anxiety with a flushing feeling (hard to describe). I never felt like this on a daily bassis before. Could either one of my medications be the cause?

Both these drugs are good antihypertensive drugs without such side effects like anxiety or stress or any psychological disturbances.
So I don't think your anxiety is due to any of these drugs.
In my opinion, you should definitely consult a psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions.
Try to identify the stressor in your life and start working on its solution.
You may need anxiolytic drugs (Propranolol and Flunarizine combination) too.
