What Causes Severe Back Pain And Lump Near The Shoulder Blade?

Hello, my grandmother is having severe back pain which started last week. She can t stand up now for a long time. She also has a lump near her shoulder blade (for almost 10 years now) and it burst last week and pus came out. Doctors couldn t find any thing wrong with the Xray. Please advice.

The symptoms as it seems to be of tuberculosis of spine which generally has a long course of sufferings with severe back pain in the low grade fever in the evening hours, weight loss, and lump in the back. There are some other closely related diferentiAL DIAGNOSES IN THIS CASE. she needs complete hemogram, ESR, CPR, X ray DL spine, MRI(after seeing the X ray) to properly diagsose the disease.
